#70

Roy Rogers & Dale Evans is the "twin" to Rita Coolidge & Kris Kristofferson, as it is the second time The Muppet Show features a power couple as the guest star.

I go back and forth on monogamy.  By nature (?), I'm a non traditionalist (?), but there sure is something sweet about two people loving each other to the end!

Power dynamics are a key part of relationship, and with my grandparents, on both sides, the man was the boss. It was his way of the highway. Whatever he said, went. I am so ready to fight all the time about inequality and justice, but sometimes maybe I could do myself a favor and just give it a rest?  If one enjoys a certain “place” in a relationship, let him/her have it.  Who am I to think it should be this way or that way? This goes back to #19, Merman.

Roy & Dale work, as I hope my sex life will still work if I live to be 70. I was worried that RED FIRE would have too many love poems, but as I neared the end, I couldn’t stop, in fact I barely did any?  I want love to go on, and I thought a cute way to express this was with a little time warp.

I think America is mighty confused about sex. It parades its idea of erotica around on a stick and then pulls out and says no way, José. Shameful. Sinful. Tease. Cowboy cosplay fantasy ride aside, I just feel this country is anti-sex in the way that it is so sexy, if that makes any sense. O God! The games we play! I guess that's the name of the game for this poem.🔥🔥🔥
